The fall/winter seasons are pretty much my favorite time of year. Why? Because Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas, of course! And Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas = lots of candy and lots of candy = happy Jennifer.
I LOVE CANDY. I don’t think you guys realize how much I like candy. If it were socially acceptable, I’d eat an entire bag of mini Reese’s in one sitting with a side of Skittles, and some junior mints to round it out. You gotta have the chocolate AND fruity candy. Amiright?
Unfortunately, Trevor and I probably won’t be getting any trick-or-treaters, so I resisted and didn’t pick up a bag of candy. I think our plans are to stay home and marathon watch American Horror Story.
For those of you that DO have kids, or trick-or-treaters, or just have leftover candy…here are 6 fabulous leftover Halloween Candy Recipes!
#1: Caramel Apple Dessert Pizza
A peanut butter cookie crust + fluffy caramel frosting + apples + Snickers? Sweet, salty, crunchy, tart perfection! A great way to use up those leftover Snickers, but I bet any caramel filled candy would be amazing!
Too many M&Ms and Rolos? Why not bake them into cookies? Warm cookies stuffed with gooey caramel? Yes please!
#3: Snickers Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie
This may be called “Snickers Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie”, but I’m guessing any candy would be f.a.n.t.a.s.t.i.c. in this dessert. Don’t forget the ice cream and extra drizzle of caramel!
What better way to use up leftover halloween candy than making more candy?! 😉 90 seconds + 1 microwave and you’ve got easy chocolate fudge that studded with your favorite candy! Swap out the optional nuts in the recipe for your leftover candy…don’t be afraid to add a little more either. 😉
Hershey’s Kisses are better when flourless peanut butter cookies are involved. Don’t ya think? 🙂
#6: PB Cup Stuffed Brownie Bites
My favorite candy: Reeses –> meet my favorite dessert: One Bowl Brownies. A match made in heaven if you ask me. Plus they’re mini, so they’re adorable.
BONUS: Adult’s need to have a little fun, too and if candy’s not your thing, then give my Devil’s Margarita a try!
