I made them over the weekend so that I had something healthier to snack on instead of all the bad choices currently sitting in my pantry… and I am so happy I did! They were fantastic – blueberry-ey, vanilla-ey, chewy! I used my large cookie scoop and ended up with 10 energy bites 🙂 Making these again for sure!

I went on the hunt to get all the ingredients for these and I cannot seem to find the Bob’s protein powder anywhere! I went to Whole Foods, Fresh Mart, Kroger, Farm Fresh and only Whole Foods, one of the ladies that works there said she had a customer a few weeks ago looking for it as well. I guess it’s a new product? My mom has some French vanilla protein powder I will use until I find Bob’s version. Hope they will turn out the same. I see how you mentioned the cookie scoop! 😉 I am still on the hunt for that too. I only keep finding ice cream scoops and I think they look too big to use. Well, if you know of a local store that is selling Bob’s protein powder, I would love any suggestions! I haven’t tried Trader Joe’s, maybe they might? The hunt continues. Thanks again for your great recipes! These will be great, along with your almond bites, to get me through my surgery in 2 weeks!
    Thanks again! Laura 🙂

Hi Laura! Oh no!! That happened to me when I was looking for lo mein noodles. Still can’t find them. 😉 I bet the French vanilla protein powder is amazing in these bites! Gook luck on your surgery! I love how much you love these bites. You can find both Bob’s Red Mill and the cookie scoop on Amazon. Here’s the protein powder and here’s the cookie scoop. I hope that helps! Thanks Laura 🙂

Hi, Jennifer! Thank you for the links for the protien powder and cookie scoop. What size scoop do you have? When I opened the link, it was on medium, but there’s 3 sizes, just want to get the right one. If I can’t find the protein powder local, then I’ll definitely order it from Amazon. Yes, your bites are awesome! I can’t wait to make these new ones. You keep coming up with new ones and I’m definitely going to make them! Thanks again! Laura

You’re so welcome! It’s the medium size 🙂 Thank you so much!!! <3

Oh my gosh I seriously love your videos, they are so fun! And thanks for the tip about Bob’s red mill protein powder, I’ve been wanting to add some to my smoothies but didn’t really know where to start. These look DELISH! I want one right now!

I love that Bob’s protein powder, so I’m totally making these this week! Gotta keep the hangry feelings away! 🙂

    • Jennifer @ Show Me the Yummy

Hi Kim! It’s really going to depend on the protein powder you use, but a rough estimate (using Bob’s Red Mill Vanilla Protein Powder) would be 12 carbs per bite. I hope that helps! 🙂

High five fellow chocolate chip muffin lover, married to a blueberry muffin lover! I’m such a snack-a-holic and I already have that Bob’s protein in my pantry, so I can’t wait to try these. Meant to be!

    • Jennifer @ Show Me the Yummy

Yessss! Glad we’re on the same page, Erin! I may or may not have added a couple chocolate chips to the energy bites I ate 😉

  6. Amy @ Amy's Healthy Baking

OMG YES YES YES!! I know some blueberry muffin purists would cringe at cinnamon, but NOT me!! I’m as big of a cinnamon-aholic as I am a chocoholic. I actually think I go through cinnamon faster than chocolate these days… Embarrassing! 😉 Love your tip about the cookie scoop too! Brilliant!

    • Jennifer @ Show Me the Yummy

Cinnamon HAS to be in blueberry muffins in my book 😉 Glad we’re on the same page! Thanks Amy!! 🙂

I am on a total meal-planning kick – it helps save me time during the week. Each week I like to add in a snack recipe, and lately I have been loving making energy bites. THESE are going on the menu for next week. They look SO good and sound even better – love the video 🙂 Cannot wait to try them for real!

    • Jennifer @ Show Me the Yummy

Yes yes yes! Why have I not made a PBJ bite?! Going on my list right now. Thanks Marina! 🙂
