This Ham and Cheese Monkey Bread will surely be the star of your next party! Warm biscuits, gooey cheese, savory ham, and a honey mustard dipping sauce . . . what’s not to love?!
Today’s recipe is sponsored by our friends at Smithfield! They’re helping us keep our holiday entertaining easy and delicious!
It is upon us.
There’s Friends-givings to be had, large family brunch gatherings, and so many bake-a-thons planned, I’ve already lost track.
Whatever the occasion, this ham and cheese monkey bread, should DEFINITELY make an appearance. 😉
Because let’s be real, holiday entertaining is alllll about the food. That’s why we’re SO excited to be working with Smithfield this month.
Together, we’re bringing YOU easy recipes to keep stress at bay and make this the best holiday yet!
First up, ham and cheese monkey bread!
You’ll start by making the fillling.
Cut refrigerated biscuits (holiday hack #1: use pre-made dough to keep things quick & easy) into quarters and throw them into a bowl with Smithfield Anytime Favorites Hickory Smoked Diced Ham (that’s my holiday hack #2 to keep things quick & easy, their pre-diced ham is GENIUS), and cubed jack cheese.
Set that aside while we make the buttery goodness: whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the buttery goodness over the biscuit mixture and give the whole thing a stir.
Then dump it into a greased round cake pan.
Lastly you’ll sprinkle the entire thing with loads of shredded swiss cheese.
Bake until warm, golden, bubbly, and delicious.
While the ham and cheese monkey bread is getting bubbly, you’ll make a honey mustard dipping sauce.
Because all monkey bread needs a killer dipping sauce.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice. Simple, but so so soooo delicious.
Once the monkey bread is done, you’ll flip it over onto a serving plate
Seriously, Trevor and I stood over the stove and literally burned ourselves with molten cheese, because we couldn’t wait to dig in. Pro tip: I suggest you wait until the cheese has cooled slightly. 😉
- Warm, flakey biscuits, tons of gooey cheese, delicious ham, and a tangy, sweet dipping sauce.
- Minimal prep.
- Makes enough to feed a crowd.
You guys. The holidays just got easier and tastier.
