This Holiday Chocolate Fudge takes 2 minutes to make in the microwave & is full of egg nog, bourbon, cinnamon, & nutmeg! The easiest holiday candy recipe!
You guyyyys holiday chocolate fudge is a thing. It’s a wonderfully chocolate-y, rich, dense, fudge-y, cinnamon-y wonderful thing. And guess what? This is based off of my easiest chocolate fudge recipe and you know what? I think I’m in love.
This holiday chocolate fudge is made in the microwave, takes less than 10 minutes to make from start to finish, and is literally my new favorite thing.
A quick and easy candy recipe for the holiday season?
I’m thinking Y.E.S.
One of the many things that’s great about being married is all the amazing family recipes you get access to. 😉 Grandma’s Fluffy Sugar Cookies and Easy Chocolate Fudge are just two of the many tasty recipes Trevor’s introduced me to.
Like clockwork, as December came rolling around, so did my craving for all things holiday treats and sweets. More specifically? Eggnog and fudge.
There’s just something about sipping on eggnog while watching a Christmas movie that just makes me so darn happy. Who’s with me? 🙋
I had some leftover eggnog hanging out in the fridge when my craving for fudge struck.
So I thought what the heck? I’ll use eggnog instead of milk and make some fudge.
H.O.L.Y. Y.UM. you guys.
The eggnog makes my already fudge-y fudge, extra fudge-y and rich. I also added some cinnamon and nutmeg to really bring out those amazing eggnog spices and I swapped vanilla for bourbon.
I also doubled the original recipe, so this holiday chocolate fudge is ultra thick.
Literally. I’m drooling right now just thinking about it.
The best (and worst, because this stuff is addicting) part of this holiday chocolate fudge is how easy is it!
Step #1: Simply place powdered sugar, cocoa powder, butter, egg nog, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large microwave safe bowl.
Step #2: Microwave for 2 minutes.
Step #3: Whisk until smooth.
Step #4: Whisk in bourbon (or rum – whatever you like in your egg nog 😉 ).
Step #5: Pour into greased 8×8 in pan and let set in the fridge.
Step #6: Eat. Eat. Eat.
Step #7: Repeat above steps until the holiday season has passed. 😉
This holiday chocolate fudge will surely be your new favorite holiday treat. It’s too easy to make, which makes it perfect for the holiday season! Make a batch (or two) for you and make a few batches to give away!
It’s easy, it’s slightly spiced, it’s rich, dense, fudge-y perfection, and everyone will love it!
Promise.
