These Nutella Cinnamon Rolls are kept simple by using Pillsbury Dough Sheets, but are filled with 3 separate fillings: pecan, apple, and pumpkin and topped with the creamiest Nutella frosting!
Happy Monday! But really, the only thing getting me through the day –> Nutella Cinnamon Rolls. Say what? Yeah. Nutella. Cinnamon. Rolls.
But here’s the thing. These are Nutella Cinnamon Rolls THREE ways, meaning, that these cinnamon rolls are all topped with the fluffiest, creamiest, Nutella cream cheese frosting, but have THREE different fillings: pecan, apple, and pumpkin.
Sounds complicated, right?
Nope! To keep things super simple, we’re using Pillsbury Seamless Dough Sheets and they’re baked together in an 8 x 8 inch square pan.
I mean really, all I need to tell you is EASY + NUTELLA and I’ve got you hooked.
Right? 🙂
First things first, let’s talk about that frosting. I mean, when Nutella is involved, you know it’s gonna be good. Lucky for us, it’s also super easy to make (seriously, watch the video 👆 to see for yourself how easy these are).
Cream together cream cheese and butter. Once that’s fluffy, we beat in Nutella, cream, vanilla, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and just a pinch of salt to cut the sweetness.
Fluffy nutella deliciousness. Put it on everything. Today, however, we’re slathering it on cinnamon rolls.
Now look. I know the sound of three different fillings sounds complicated, but I promise you it’s not. If you’re not convinced, just triple one of the toppings and just use that and your concerns can go away 😉
Like I said, we’re using Pillsbury Seamless Dough Sheets. You’ll need three sheets: one for each filling.
First up, the pumpkin. Because it’s October. Ok? 🙂
Whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla, ground cinnamon, salt, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg.
DONE. It literally takes 2.5 seconds. 😉
Next up, the apple. This one takes slightly longer than 2.5 seconds, but still… it’s really easy.
All you need to do is saute some chopped apples in a little butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
That’s it! Easy peasy.
Last but not least is the pecan filling. This is the easiest, yet equally as delicious filling. Simply combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans together and you’ve got yourself a delicious pecan filling.
Once all of the fillings are ready to go, all you need to do is spread the filling on the dough sheets, roll ’em up, bake, frost, and devour! You can watch the whole process in the video above.
So what’s my favorite flavor?
Um. All of them!
I love the simplicity of the pecan rolls, but the apple has such a great crunch and tartness, and pumpkin with the nutella cream cheese frosting? Heck. Yes. Plus I just love that you get three different flavors in ONE pan, after you frost them, you never know what flavor you’re gonna get!
Nutella Cinnamon Rolls for the {Monday} win.
