Hey guys!
Thought I’d sneak in one last super simple, super tasty recipe before the big Turkey Day! These are a great last minute dessert OR save this recipe for after Thanksgiving, because these little bites of sweet heaven are PERFECT for the December holidays.
Granola truffles, while you may not have heard of them before, are definitely going to be your latest obsession.
With just a few simple ingredients and NO baking, you’ll have a great treat that’s perfect for the holiday season!
Warning: they taste like sugar cookies and are perfectly pop-able, so get ready to have one two a few. 😉
I LOVE no bake treats, but don’t have nearly enough on the blog, so today, we’re going to fix that.
No bake treats, like these granola truffles, are ah-mazing, especially during the holidays, because:
- Ummm hellloooo, they’re no bake, so no taking up extra room in your already jam packed oven.
- They’re quick! Literally 2 minutes of work and you’re halfway there.
- They’re EASY! 5 ingredients? Yes please! Plus, these are PERFECT for the little bakers in the kitchen.
- They’re delish. No explanation needed. 🙂
Now, are you ready to see just how quick and easy these granola truffles actually are?!
- Step One: Place Sweet Home Farm French Vanilla Granola (aka most addicting granola ever, into a food processor with vanilla extract, almond extract (key to making these taste like sugar cookies), and cream cheese.
- Step Two: Give it a whirl in your food processor until combined.
- Step Three: Scoop into balls using your favorite cookie scoop.
- Step Four: Freeze.
- Step Five: Dip in white chocolate. Drizzle with dark chocolate. Add excessive amounts of sprinkles.
Now. The inside of these truffles aren’t terribly sweet, but trust me, once you dip them in ultra sweet melted white chocolate, they’re PERFECT. If the filling had any additional sugar in them, they’d be too sweet for me. And I like sugar. 😉
Quick and easy to make. SOOOO pretty. And they taste like sugar cookies.
Who’s ready to get their holiday {no} baking on?!
