Optional Serving Suggestions

Instructions

Cheeseburger Filling

  • Place beef, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder into a non-stick skillet.
  • Cook over medium heat, breaking up the beef as you go, until the meat is no longer pink.
  • Remove from the heat and optional: drain if there’s an excessive amount of grease, a little is ok to keep these moist.
  • Stir in onions, pickles, mayo, mustard, and ketchup, then taste and re-season, if necessary. Set aside.

Cheeseburger Sliders

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Slice the group of 12 rolls in half horizontally so that you have one “slab” of tops and one “slab” of bottoms. (Do not pull the rolls apart.)
  • Place the bottom “slab” into the prepared baking dish, then top with American cheese.
  • Layer on the cheeseburger filling, then top with cheddar cheese.
  • Place top rolls on**, spoon melted butter evenly over the rolls, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake, covered, for 30-45 minutes or until the meat is hot and the cheese has melted.
  • Cut into individual sandwiches, serve, and enjoy!***

Notes

*If raw onions aren’t your thing, simply add them in before sautéing the beef so they soften and cook.
**Secure the buns with toothpicks if they are sliding off the filling.
***These are very messy, so grab extra napkins!
