1(28 oz) canwhole peeled tomatoesdrained - save the juice!
1yellow onionsliced
4-6clovesgarlicpeeled, but kept whole
2tablespoonsolive oil
1tablespoonbrown sugar
2tablespoonsbutteromit or sub with vegan butter if vegan
