Notes

Updated recipe: 2 oz tequila of choice (this works with blanco, gold, jalapeno, and other spicy tequilas), 2 oz triple sec (can also use Cointreau or Grand Marnier), 2 oz lime juice. Shake ingredients together with ice, then pour into a glass with ice. We love a tajin rim!
To make homemade simple syrup: combine equal parts sugar and water (ex 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water - you could also do a 1 to 2 ratio 1/2 cup water to 1 cup water) into a microwave safe measuring cup and microwave until the sugar has dissolved.
