Crockpot Swedish Meatballs is a quick and easy slow cooker recipe using frozen meatballs and served with a rich and creamy gravy and your choice of fluffy mashed potatoes or noodles.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 (28 oz) bag frozen meatballs I used a pork/beef blend
  • ½ cup sour cream room temperature

Instructions

  • Grease a 6 quart crockpot with cooking spray.
  • Add in broth, cream, soy sauce, flour, pepper, rosemary, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and salt, then whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in meatballs until fully coated, then cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours.
  • Remove the lid, whisk in sour cream until smooth, then cook, uncovered, for 30 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Serve with potatoes or noodles and enjoy!
