Homemade Bagel Chips

These crunchy homemade bagel chips are crispy, salty, and addicting. The perfect pairing for your favorite dip, cheese, or soup!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 oz plain bagels* sliced into 1/8 inch slices

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together oil, parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined, then gently stir in the bagel slices until fully coated.
  • Dump onto an unlined baking sheet and arrange the bagel slices in a single layer.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp (they will continue crisping as they cool).
  • Remove from oven and enjoy warm (while slightly chewy) or allow to cool completely (to fully crisp) and serve with your favorite dip, cheese, and/or soup!

Notes

*12 oz was 3 bagels for me which totaled about 6 cups.
