Servings: 32 bites
- 8 cups water
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1 (16.3 oz) can Grands! Southern Homestyle Biscuits see my post above about why you should use this variety
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic power
- Maldon sea salt
Line a rimmed baking sheet with a silicone baking mat and set aside.
Bring water and baking soda to a simmer in a large stockpot.
Working quickly, cut each biscuit into quarters (you’ll end up with 32), and roll each quarter into a tight ball.
Working with 12 bites at a time, place biscuits into simmering water/baking soda solution and simmer for 2 minutes. GENTLY move them around to ensure even boiling.
Use a steel skimmer to remove the pretzels bites and place them onto a silicone mat lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining pretzel bites.
Let them firm up slightly before moving onto the next step.
Combine melted butter and garlic powder in a small bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Brush butter/garlic powder mixture over each boiled biscuit bite.
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F and spray basket with cooking spray.
Working with 12 at a time, air fry for 5 minutes flip the bites, then air fry for another 4-5 minutes, or until brown. These might look VERY dark.
Remove pretzel bites from air fryer and sprinkle with maldon sea salt.
Repeat with remaining bites and enjoy!
