Air Fryer Banana Bread

This Air Fryer Banana Bread is moist in the middle with a slightly crunchy exterior. This indulgent bread is cinnamon sugary, chocolatey, and so addicting.

Ingredients

Cinnamon Swirl

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar use an organic variety, if vegan
  • ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon

Banana Bread

  • cup granulated sugar use an organic variety, if vegan
  • ¼ cup neutral flavored oil I used avocado oil, but canola oil, coconut oil, etc. will work
  • ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large very ripe bananas mashed (about 1 scant cup)
  • ¾ cups all-purpose flour spoon and leveled
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips of choice use dairy free, if vegan

Instructions

Cinnamon Swirl

  • Place sugar and ground cinnamon into a small bowl, stir to combine, then set aside.

Banana Bread

  • Preheat air fryer to 325 degrees F and grease a 2 quart air fryer safe non-stick square baking pan (6.5L x 6.5W x 2.75H inch) with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Place sugar, oil, and vanilla into a medium sized bowl and whisk until smooth, then whisk in mashed bananas.
  • Add in flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, then use a rubber spatula to fold in the ingredients until *just* combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Sprinkle the bottom and sides of the greased baking pan with half the cinnamon sugar mixture, then fill with half the batter.
  • Sprinkle the batter with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture, top with the remaining batter, then use a knife to slightly swirl the cinnamon sugar into the bread.
  • Air fry in the preheated air fryer for 30-40 minutes or until the bread has cooked through.
  • Cool slightly before cutting, serving, and enjoying!
