Ingredients

Butter Sauce

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes omit if you don’t like spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Pizza Sliders

  • 1 (12 oz) package hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce plus more for dipping, if desired
  • 2 (6 oz) packages pepperonis
  • 1 (8 oz) block mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions

Butter Sauce

  • In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, parmesan, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, red pepper flakes, and pepper until combined. Set aside.

Pizza Sliders

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Slice the group of 12 rolls in half horizontally so that you have one “slab” of tops and one “slab” of bottoms. (Do not pull the rolls apart.)
  • Place the bottom “slab” into the prepared baking dish, then cover with the provolone cheese slices.
  • Spread the pizza sauce over the cheese, top evenly with the pepperonis, then sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.
  • Place top rolls on, then spoon the butter sauce evenly over the rolls.
  • Bake, covered, for 30-45 minutes or until the filling is hot and the cheese has melted.
  • Cut into individual sandwiches, serve with additional dipping sauce, if desired, and enjoy!
