Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries
These Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries are ultra crispy, yet fluffy, and perfectly seasoned. They're also quick and easy to make, vegan, and gluten free!

cup
granulated sugar
Warm water
enough to cover the fries
1 1/2
pounds
sweet potatoes
peeled and sliced into 1/4 - 1/2 inch strips

tablespoons
cornstarch
1 1/2
teaspoons
salt

teaspoon
paprika
1/2
teaspoon
pepper
1/2
teaspoon
onion powder
1/2
teaspoon
garlic powder

tablespoons
extra virgin olive oil

Instructions
Dissolve the sugar in the warm water in a medium sized bowl.
Submerge sliced potatoes and soak for 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch, salt, paprika, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Set aside.
Remove potatoes from water, and dry thoroughly on paper towels.
Place dried potatoes into a gallon sized baggie.
Drizzle in olive oil.
Seal the baggie and shake until the potatoes are fully coated in the oil.
Sprinkle in spice mixture and again, seal, then shake until the potatoes are fully coated.
Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees F.
Working in batches air fry for 10-15 minutes.*
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

*Place cooked fries onto a baking sheet, then into a warm oven (about 200 degrees) while the other batches of fries are cooking.
