Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter cold
  • 1/4  cup  brown sugar packed
  • tablespoon  vanilla extract
  • large egg yolk cold
  • 3/4  cup  all purpose flour
  • 1/4  teaspoon  baking soda
  • 1/4  teaspoon  salt
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup California Walnuts chopped + more for topping
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Chocolate sauce

Instructions

  • Grease two slots of a jumbo muffin tin with cooking spray and pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  • Beat in egg yolk.
  • Add in flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until well combined.
  • Stir in dark chocolate chips and California Walnuts.
  • Place the dough evenly into the two prepared slots (about 1/2 cup each).
  • Bake in preheated oven for 14-18 minutes, or until cookie is baked to your liking.
  • Remove from oven and serve with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and extra walnuts, if desired!
