Baked Pumpkin Donuts
- 1 (16.5) oz box spice cake mix
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
Cinnamon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Maple Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter melted and cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- pinch salt
Baked Pumpkin Donuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray donut pan or mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together donut ingredients.
Donut pan
Make a small cut in the corner of a gallon sized ziplock baggie.
Fill baggie with batter.
Pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Let cool slightly before topping with glaze or cinnamon sugar.
Cinnamon Sugar
Whisk together the sugar and cinnamon.
Dunk donuts with the melted butter.
Dunk in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Serve and enjoy!
