Ingredients

Baked Pumpkin Donuts

  • 1 (16.5) oz box spice cake mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

Cinnamon Sugar

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Maple Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • pinch salt

Instructions

Baked Pumpkin Donuts

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray donut pan or mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together donut ingredients.

Mini muffin donuts

  • Use a cookie scoop to fill the prepared mini muffin pan.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly before topping with glaze or cinnamon sugar.

Donut pan

  • Make a small cut in the corner of a gallon sized ziplock baggie.
  • Fill baggie with batter.
  • Pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly before topping with glaze or cinnamon sugar.

Maple Glaze

  • Whisk together glaze ingredients.
  • Dunk donuts in the glaze.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Cinnamon Sugar

  • Whisk together the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Dunk donuts with the melted butter.
  • Dunk in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Serve and enjoy!
