French Bread Pizza

This French Bread Pizza is a dinner the whole family will love! Homemade garlic bread is piled with gooey cheese and all your favorite pizza toppings. Bonus: it's ready in 30 minutes or less.

Ingredients

Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced parsley or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced basil or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

French Bread Pizza

  • 1 (16 oz) loaf French bread quartered (cut in half down the middle, then sliced in half lengthwise)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) bag shredded Italian blend cheese
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated parmesan cheese
  • Toppings of choice *

Instructions

Butter Sauce

  • In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, parmesan, parsley, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper until combined. Set aside.

French Bread Pizza

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat.
  • Place the 4 slices of bread side by side on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread 2 tablespoons butter sauce evenly over each piece of bread then bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and spread pizza sauce on the top (you’ll need 1/4 cup per piece), then top with cheeses (you’ll need 1/2 cup shredded cheese and 1/2 tablespoon parmesan per piece) and toppings of choice.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the pizzas are hot.
  • Cool for 5 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
