  • 1 (52 fl oz) carton plain oat milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large very ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups steel cut oats

Instructions

  • Grease a 6 quart crockpot generously with cooking spray, then pour in milk, maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, mashed bananas, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Whisk until fully combined, then stir in steel cut oats.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 1/2 - 3 hours or until the oats are cooked to your liking.
  • Taste and re-season, then serve plain or with additional toppings (brown sugar, maple syrup, fruit, nuts, raisins, etc.) and enjoy!
