Potato Chip Cheese Ball Recipe

A twist on a classic, this Potato Chip Cheese Ball is full of cream cheese, goat cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, spices, and yes, POTATO CHIPS! :)

Ingredients

Potato Chip Cheese Ball

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese softened
  • 2 (4 oz) packages goat cheese softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 (8 oz) package shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup crushed Kettle Brand Sea Salt Potato Chips
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro or parsley
  • 2 tablespoons diced bacon*

Outer Coating

  • 1/2 cup crushed Kettle Brand Sea Salt Potato Chips
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro or parsley
  • 2 tablespoons diced bacon*

For Serving

  • crackers

Instructions

Potato Chip Cheese Ball

  • Place cream cheese, goat cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and cheddar cheese into a large bowl.
  • Using a hand mixer, beat mixture together until smooth.
  • Pour in chips, cilantro, and bacon and beat until everything is evenly incorporated.
  • Cover bowl with saran wrap and chill in refrigerator until firm, at least 2 hours.

Outer Coating

  • On a large plate, combine remaining chips, cilantro, and bacon. Set aside.
  • Place a large piece of saran wrap onto a clean work surface.
  • Pour chilled cheese mixture onto the saran wrap.
  • Wrap the cheese mixture in the saran wrap.
  • Shape into a ball.
  • Peel off the saran wrap and roll in the chips/cilantro/bacon mixture.
  • Store in the fridge** until ready to serve with more chips and crackers!

Notes

*You'll need about 5 pieces of cooked bacon.
**You might want to pull this out of the fridge to soften a bit before serving, maybe 30 minutes or so.
