Mini Breakfast Pizzas Recipe
These Mini Breakfast Pizzas are my latest breakfast obsession. Pita topped with fresh pesto, savory sausage, melty mozzarella, and a gooey egg!

  • 1 whole wheat pita bread
  • 1/4 cup pesto
  • 1-2 links Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown® Mild Pork Breakfast Sausage Links sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 large egg
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • parmesan finely grated
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F, place the baking rack on the top rung, and line a baking sheet with a silicone mat.
  2. Place pita on baking sheet.
  3. Top with pesto, sliced sausage links, and mozzarella.
  4. Crack an egg in the center of the pita and season with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of grated parmesan.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 10-20 minutes, or until the egg is cooked to your liking.
