YUM.
Sweet medjool dates stuffed with a cream cheese jalapeno popper filling . . . wrapped in bacon.
Yeah.
I went there.
Ingredients in jalapeno popper stuffed dates:
- Cream cheese
- Mayo
- Parmesan cheese
- Garlic powder
- Chili powder
- Salt
- Diced jalapenos
- Medjool dates, pitted and sliced in half lengthwise
- Bacon, halved (if desired)*
*I think half a slice of bacon is enough for each date, but you can also use a full slice per date if you want it more bacon-y. 🙂
How do i make spicy stuffed dates?
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
- Make the jalapeno popper filling: place cream cheese, mayo, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and diced jalapenos into a bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat mixture together until well combined.
- Stuff each prepared date with about 1 teaspoon of jalapeno popper filling.
- Wrap each date in bacon.
- Place onto prepared baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 15-25 minutes or until bacon is cooked to your liking.
- Cool slightly, serve, and enjoy!
I love how chewy and sweet the dates are. They’re the perfect compliment to the slightly tangy and spicy filling and salty, smoke-y bacon.
Sweet. Tangy. Spicy. Salty. Smokey.
These jalapeno popper stuffed dates have it allllll goin’ on!
