These Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders are made with sweet hawaiian rolls, an ultra creamy, cheesy filling, and a simply addicting butter sauce. These pull-apart sandwiches are easy to make and so delicious!
Ingredients
- Chicken Bacon Ranch Filling: Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Ranch Seasoning Mix, Cooked Chicken, and Bacon – cream cheese and sour cream work together to create a tangy, creamy “sauce” that perfectly coats the chicken and bacon. Ranch seasoning mix can be found in the salad dressing aisle at the grocery store. Use whatever leftover chicken you have on hand, although, love using a store-bought rotisserie chicken for ease. Cook the bacon using your favorite method, but I highly recommend checking out my article on How to Cook Bacon in the Oven.
- Butter Sauce: Butter, Parmesan, Spices: Parsley, Basil, Garlic Powder, Salt, and Pepper – melted butter gets stirred together with the parmesan and spices then spooned evenly over the rolls. This adds additional flavor and creates a beautifully browned crust. Feel free to place around with the spices, if desired.
- Sliders: Rolls, Cheese, and Green Onions – Hawaiian rolls are very commonly used for sliders, because they’re pillowy soft and perfectly sweet, but feel free to use your favorite sliders buns, if preferred. The original recipe calls for colby-jack, but any cheese such as cheddar or pepper-jack would also be fantastic! Green onions add a pop of color, texture, and fresh flavor to the sandwiches, but may be omitted, if preferred.
How to make
Chicken Bacon Ranch Filling
- Place cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mix into a large bowl, use a hand mixer to mix until combined, then use a rubber spatula to stir in chicken and bacon. Set aside.
Butter Sauce
- In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, parmesan, parsley, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined. Set aside.
Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders
- Slice the group of 12 rolls in half horizontally so that you have one “slab” of tops and one “slab” of bottoms, then place the bottom “slab” into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the bottom slab evenly with the chicken bacon ranch filling, top with the cheese slices, place top rolls on, then spoon the butter sauce over the rolls.
- Bake, covered, for 30-45 minutes or until the filling is hot and the cheese has melted, then cut into individual sandwiches and enjoy!
What to serve with chicken bacon ranch sliders
I love serving these sliders with a dipping sauce and a few of my favorite sides:
- Chipotle Ranch Dressing
- Air Fryer Frozen Fries
- Air Fryer Pickles
- Macaroni Salad
- Pear, Blue Cheese, Candied Pecan Salad
- Fruit Salad
How to store
Leftover sliders will last in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or in the freezer for 2-3 months.
To enjoy again, thaw in the fridge, if frozen, then warm in the microwave or bake wrapped in foil at 350ºF until heated through.
Can i make these ahead?
Yes! This is a great freezer friendly meal:
- Make as directed, cool completely, slice into individual sliders, then wrap each slider in tin foil.
- Place sliders into a freezer safe ziplock baggie, then store in the freezer for 2-3 months.
- When ready to serve: thaw in the fridge overnight, preheat oven to 350 degrees F, place the desired amount of foil wrapped sliders onto a baking sheet, then bake until heated through.
Pro tip
You can chose to bake or not bake these before freezing. It doesn’t matter. We always bake, so we can enjoy a few sliders before freezing the rest!
