Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Sliders <– yeahhhhh that happened.
Fluffy biscuit + maple sausage + egg + gravy . . .
This. THIS is the kind of breakfast I crave. Plus, biscuits and gravy is Trevor’s weakness. When we go out for brunch, if biscuits and gravy is on the menu… it will be ordered. Ummm, one time, Trevor ordered a side of biscuits and gravy to go with his main order of biscuits and gravy.
Don’t tell him I told you that. 😉
But what can I say? The man knows what he likes!
As you can imagine, Trevor went crazy for these Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Sliders.
Surprisingly easy. Obviously delicious. And perfect for holiday brunches, weekday brinners, and everything in between.
There is nothing cozier to me than biscuits and gravy during the cold winter months.
Like, if snow is on the ground, you should be eating biscuits and gravy.
It’s just stick-to-your-ribs cozy deliciousness, you know?!
But today, I’ve kicked it up a notch and made biscuits and gravy into breakfast sliders, because breakfast sandwiches are everything.
There are only four parts to today’s Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Sliders Recipe:
- The Biscuits
- The Gravy
- The Sausage
- The Egg
First up, the biscuits.
Use store bought. Why? Because they’re tasty and hellllooooo we’re SMTY: Easy Recipes for Yummy Food.
Next up, the gravy.
I based it off of my easy biscuits and gravy recipe and holy moly it’s good. Simply melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in some flour, stir in skim milk and a bunch of spices, and let it cook until thickened.
Quick, easy, AND delicious.
Then we’ve got the sausage.
We’re using Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown® Maple Pork Breakfast Sausage Patties. The patties are certified gluten-free and they’re flavored with real Wisconsin maple syrup! You guys, this sausage is the perfect sweet compliment to the savory gravy. Plus, they’re pre-cooked, so all they need is a quick zap in the microwave!
Local brands for.the.win.
Lastly, the egg.
Guess what? I baked eggs in a muffin tin!! All you do is crack one egg into one muffin slot (you can do as many or as few as you like), salt and pepper it, then bake until the egg is cooked to your liking.
Crazy easy.
So there we have it! Flakey, buttery biscuits –> savory, creamy gravy –> sweet, salty sausage –> gooey egg.
Ughhhhh it’s breakfast/brinner perfection!
Can we all eat Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Sliders and drink hot cocoa together?
